Supply Planner/Analyst
Description
The Senior Supply Planner is responsible for inventory management and allocations, for Amazon sales channels. The Senior Supply Planner will support Trevco’s efforts to maximize sales and achieve financial objectives for the company by managing inventory levels. They will report to the Director of Planning to develop and execute inventory strategies that drive sales while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This individual will play a lead role in the weekly demand forecasting and subsequent supply planning.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ownership of the Amazon FBA supply/demand plan. You’ll collaborate with marketplace partners to accurately forecast inventory requirements, sell-through velocity, seasonality, and new product development initiatives.
- Analyze and update inventory demand forecasts using historical data and relative metrics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with the marketplace and inventory purchasing team to understand how upcoming marketing and initiatives will impact our need for inventory.
- Develop processes to track inventory metrics (days-on-hand, turns, overstocks, out-of-stocks, total value, etc.) and report monthly results to key stakeholders.
- Understand the upstream and downstream constraints on all cross-functional partners, including raw material vendors, 3rd party manufacturers, and our internal production teams.
Skills & Competencies
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Power Query, complex functions/formulas & pivot tables are a must)
- Intermediate SQL proficiency (able to write basic queries)
- Familiarity with NetSuite or other medium-to-large scale ERP/MRP systems
- Highly organized, strong communication skills and customer service mentality
- 2-5 years of experience working in consumer goods or other manufacturing environments
