COMPLIANCE COORDINATOR
REPORTS TO:
Trade Compliance Manager
SUMMARY:
The Compliance Coordinator supports the Trade Compliance function by managing documentation, maintaining accurate reporting, and ensuring timely processing of key regulatory and operational tasks. This role is responsible for data pulls, mailbox management, invoice review, and compliance reporting activities that help ensure adherence to company policies and global trade regulations. The Compliance Coordinator serves as a critical support partner to the Trade Compliance Lead and Manager, contributing to ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Operational & Administrative Compliance
- Process and approve trade compliance–related invoices.
- Perform reconciliation data pulls and prepare reports for internal reviews.
- Conduct data pulls for the Duty Drawback program and support associated documentation requirements.
- Run and distribute the weekly JDE report to relevant stakeholders.
Documentation & Recordkeeping
- Manage yearly documentation requests and ensure timely collection, organization, and retention of compliance records.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
Mailbox & Communication Management
- Monitor and manage the Trade Compliance and Homedics Exports shared mailboxes, ensuring timely responses and proper routing of inquiries.
Project Support
- Assist the Trade Compliance Lead and Manager on department projects, including process improvements, audits, and regulatory initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support compliance-driven tasks and special assignments as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling and documentation.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes, systems, and compliance requirements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); familiarity with JDE or similar ERP systems is a plus.
